The Speyside Way is a long distance walk starting on the Moray Coast. It follows the River Spey to Aviemore, at the edge of the Cairngorm Mountains, a distance of 84 miles including a spur to Dufftown - malt whisky capital and also to Tomintoul, the highest village in Scotland.
Being in the heart of the Malt Whisky Trail you will be tempted by the numerous distilleries who offer a warm welcome and maybe a wee dram!
The Village is home to the Speyside Cooperage where you can watch whisky casks being made in the traditional manner.
Golfers will find numerous courses in the area with a great diversity in character for which a golfing package is available.
The Speyside area is also home to many world famous food products which can be sampled locally.
